Personal fundraiser
Helping Harry is a personal-cause fundraiser and is not a charity. Donations are voluntary gifts intended to support Harry through Tarnya, Harry's mum. They do not purchase goods or services and are not represented as Gift Aid donations.
Purpose
Funds are raised for Harry's legal advice and representation, essential living resources and welfare support connected with his detention and legal situation in Cambodia. See Fundraising & donations for more detail.
Payments, fees and monthly support
Direct card payments are processed by Square. Crowdfunder may also be offered as an external option. Payment or platform providers may deduct their normal charges. Monthly support continues until cancelled; cancelling stops future charges but does not automatically reverse earlier donations.
Refunds
Processed donations are generally treated as final. Duplicate payments, processing errors, unauthorised transactions and refunds required by law or payment rules can be reviewed against the payment record. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
No promised outcome
A donation does not guarantee any particular legal result, release date, detention condition or other outcome for Harry. Funds must only be used lawfully and the website must not be misused.
