Who this notice covers
This notice applies to personal information collected through saveharry.help for the Helping Harry personal fundraiser. Helping Harry is not a charity. The site is administered for the fundraiser supporting Tarnya and Harry.
A dedicated public privacy email address is not currently published. Until one is configured, data-rights requests should be made through a verified Helping Harry administrator using an existing fundraiser contact channel.
Information we collect
- Donation amount, frequency, status and payment reference.
- Name, billing postcode and email where supplied or required for monthly support.
- Supporter name and message only when you choose to display them publicly.
- Routine technical and security information processed by hosting and payment providers.
Card numbers and card security codes are handled by Square and are not stored by this website.
How we use information
Information is used to process and administer donations, maintain fundraising records, manage recurring support, resolve payment issues, protect the site and operate the supporter wall. The legal bases relied on are legitimate interests, consent for optional public supporter information, and legal obligations where records must be retained.
Service providers and retention
Square processes payments, Vercel hosts and delivers the website, and Neon hosts fundraiser data. Crowdfunder applies its own privacy terms if you use that external route. Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for fundraising administration, recurring support, payment disputes, security and applicable legal or accounting requirements.
Cookies and your rights
The application code does not use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Essential session and payment-security technology may be used. Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to use of your information and to withdraw consent where consent applies.
